Caring Now For Kids is America's first non-profit corparation to assist with double lung transplants. Most foundations are for reseach only. Caring Now For Kids is for the actual procedure. Over 30,000 people have cystic fibrosis in the US alone. It is America's deadliest genetic disease, killing 3.5 children every day! Our goal is to save one child's life a day. The cost of this surgery is $250,000 plus anti-rejection medicine. Every tax deductible dollar you give today gives breath to a child tomorrow.
Donations are accepted in varied forms, but Ronnie Werstler, the founder of Caring Now For Kids is also breaking 2 X 4's for $100 sponosrships. His goal is to break 2500 2 X 4's, before heading to Chicago to appear on the Oprah Winfrey show. Once on the show the goal is to break 100 2 X 4's in a 30 minute period, setting a world record and hopefully motivating the masses to donate to this worthwhile cause.
